Twenty musical examples guide you through the gallery with an audio tour which is a "multimodal" experience focusing on the acoustic dimension of the instruments.
Some audio samples are taken from live recordings of the Accademia's concert seasons or from its ethno-musicological archives and some are short extracts from the CD archives. All are available in the Multimedia Library in their full versions.

The application has been developed by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in cooperation with the AXMEDIS European Research project.
